Fractured Hip Prosthesis - What Next?

Yesterday I felt a 'pop' in my leg that has had one THR and two revisions. An x-ray today revealed a fractured prosthesis and broken cerclage from what I understand. My ortho surgeon/HMO does not support this type of prosthesis as it was performed at an affiliate hospital, Cedars-Sinai in LA. My surgeon was able to get approval for a visit to the surgeon who performed the original, complicated surgery which has been a life changer for the last 3 years. Now I'm waiting for an appointment and a resolution that might be extreme since I've already had 3 procedures on this leg. Frankly, I'm scared and not sure what to expect - but bracing for the worst. Has anyone had a fractured prosthesis? What was the outcome? I'm doing everything right - lost a substantial amount of weight, exercising regularly and following my precautions.

I had a THR and three revisions. The prothesis held but the cerclage wire broke. The femure was cracked from so many surgeries and what looked like a pipe clamp held it together. The broken cerclage wire didn't cause any pain or problem for several years.
