Fosamax
I need to start Fosamax. I do not want to but I am at the point there are no more options with my risks of breaking a bone.
I also deal with CRPS which can cause more bone problems.
And my ankle has been compromised from the 6 1/2 weeks of radiation and brachytherapy. My ankle could easily just break. I would love feed back on Fosamax the good and the bad.
And if you were on it but had to switch to the injections.

With that kind of risk, in your shoes I would ask in whether one of the 3 bone forming medicines would be better considering the rest of your health situation.

1 ReactionWhat are your latest dexa scores? physicians are beginning to look at the importance of sequencing when setting up a treatment plan. Have you discussed the treatment plan your doc is recommending? Have you read about fosomax?It is important that you are clear about these choices. The more we educate ourselves the better we can advocate for our care.
What are the injections you mentioned? Are you saying that your doc was offering a choice?
It would help us to know.

I have Osteoporosis. Nothing seems to help. My osteo doctor put me on Evenity SQ soln 105. Two shots in my stomach once a month. Anyone else on this?
