Forteo and weight gain

I am taking Forteo for osteoporosis. My T score was -4. I have started my fourth month of the shots. I have started to gain weight. Has anyone else experienced this side effect?

yes, helpmeforteo, especially at the belly. I think it's the high presence of calcium some of which taken up by the fat cells prevents the normal rates of attrition for the cells. I haven't, so far, had that experience. I have heard that it goes away when you stop Forteo, sadly slowly.

I have been on Forteo for just about a year now and have gained a significant amount of weight. The weight gain is not confined to one area as others have experienced. I have literally gained all of my body. I am hoping that I will lose the weight after I have completed the two years of use. Has anyone lost weight after completing the two year program?
