@capnjack
I've probably seen it 50 times. If you want to see a very early James Stewart, watch the second Thin Man movie.

Pretty much says it all.
I don"t know where to ask this question. Can't find Just Want to Talk.
We should have a site for GOOD NEWS where people can post (not boast) about healing, recovery, new treatments, good experiences.
All the sites are pretty much "downers." How about one that is up beat?
A separate site allows those of us in a bad mood to avoid hearing about others' successes, while at the same allowing encouragememt for those of us who want to share GOOD NEWS.
My hospital is great, and my pacemaker is working. Dinner and a show, same evening as day of discharge from hospital👍

3 Reactions@shmerdloff , that’s a good idea. I have my issues, but most days I feel so stinking good I hesitate to post too much about it, as I feel it’s insensitive to those in pain, those mourning a death or those who have just received a serious medical diagnosis.

3 ReactionsThat, is the essence of empathy and consideration.
Every time I brush with death, and come home full of holes and stickums, I am that much more joyous and thankful about this life, whatever it holds.
Tough way to teach humility and gratitude, but me me me entitlement is a hard nut to crack. Rise Up!

3 ReactionsAn old friend told me about waking up in a fox hole during WWII:
"Well, the rain had stopped and the sun broke through the clouds and I thought 'What a beautiful morning!'"

Remember? Ni atheists in foxholes.
@shmerdloff
Well, he was an atheist in the foxhole and out.
He could be grumpy about a lot of things, but always brightened to trees, clouds, sunshine and interesting people.

🤣 and where did he think the sky, trees, and sun come from?
@rollingf
At a wedding, have you ever heard them sing ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST to the bride?
@shmerdloff
Not that I recall, but I have not been to a lot of Weddings.
