Foot swelling from Dexamthasone or Docetaxel

Hi,
My husband's one foot is quite swollen. They will test for blood clot, but I understand this can be a side effect from either or both Dexamethasone or Docetaxel..
Anyone else have this?
He's been on Dexamethasone for 3 months and the docetaxel if every 3 weeks with chemo.

Foot swelling (peripheral edema) while taking dexamethasone alongside Docetaxel is primarily caused by Docetaxel itself, which causes cumulative fluid retention, potentially affecting 44–65% of patients. Although Dexamethasone is used to prevent this, it can also cause fluid retention as a side effect.

ADT can definitely cause edema, with foot and leg swelling. I’ve had it off and on for years since I’ve been on ADT for eight years. At times my socks will get real tight compared to other times. I’ve heard multiple people complain about swelling in their legs and feet.

Same with me. Been on Eligard for 13 months now (aiming for 24 months) and out of the blue a month ago, edema on both legs. I gained 10 lbs. of water weight. Water pills help a bit but not dramatically. It's weird and kind of scary.
