Foot Neuropathy, CIDP?
I have foot neuropathy that progressed from one foot to the other over 15 yrs. History of alcohol use, and high sugar. Had a soft diagnosis of CIDP. EMS, blood tests, spinal tap inconclusive. Neurologist based his opinion on office exams, which were very subjective. Had 1.5 yrs of immune globulin infusions with no effect. Neuropathy got worse with burning after knee replacement. Thinking of getting a second opinion. How could the knee surgery affect the neuropathy? I think it’s diabetic neuropathy 🤷♂️. Ps. I’ve done life style changes over the last 1.5 years. Lost 50lbs. High protein diet. A1C has been much lower. 6.1

Has your neurologist not suggested implanted electro stimulation?
No. He was talking about Plasma exchange, or Vvgart Hytrulo. I’m not confident I have CIDP.
@blowerk1216 No. He mentioned Plasma exchange, and Vvgart Hytrulo. I’m not convident I have CIDP. I don’t want to take any more medicine unless the diagnosis is more solid.

not working

I have the NEVRO implant, it does work but not as good as I had hoped.
As I understand it there is a variation of effectiveness depending on the person
@wsgayski123 gotcha!
@bvfrd as I understand it there is a variation in effectiveness from person to person

I had a nevro spinal stimulator placed in my back over a year ago. It gave me very little relief. I am having it removed next month.
