Follow-up Pet Scan states impressions of resolved or nearly resolved.

What does resolved or nearly resolved impressions mean on my Pet Scan report? For example,
Impression
1. Resolved nodal uptake of the left neck and left supraclavicular region.
2. Resolved hypermetabolic lesion of the right iliac wing.
3. Nearly resolved left subpectoral/axillary nodal uptake findings and resolved left breast uptake.
4. Nonspecific less prominent soft tissue uptake of the left gluteal region.

I don't want to get ahead of myself and have my oncologist appointment in 2 weeks. Hoping this is GREAT news. Anyone know?
Thanks!

I'm sorry to say this is well beyond my understanding. However, I was able to call--and talk to--the radiologist about certain scans. Is there a name and number on the report? You might be able to have a radiologist explain before your oncology appointment. Best of luck with this.

Thank you for reaching out. I am
okay with waiting to talk with my oncologist.
Wanting to get the interpretation, as well as, her recommendations for next treatment etc.

I hope the appointment goes well! If you feel like it, check back in when you know more.

I agree in not getting ahead of the doctor, but I hope this is the good news it sounds like.
If this were me, I have to say, I would be asking for a call from the doctor to translate a bit. If it is bad news I wouldn’t want to wait two weeks. If it is good news then let’s celebrate the win.
Forgive me for not remembering your case, I am a little slow on the uptake some days. Is this a follow up scan after treatments? A comparative scan?

Hi, Yea a comparative scan.
Doctor is not available until my appointment. I believe she’s away on vacation- personal time.
I can wait- I’m fine.
Thanks!
