Folfox treatment #7 of 8 and bad reaction. How do I maintain safe bp?
Folfox treatment 7 of 8 and i had a bad reaction. BP and pulse went through the roof. Nurses acted quickly and used their "kit"
After I stabilized, treatment was restarted at slower rate and I was able to
complete.
My primary has struggled along with me to get my BP under control but it gets worse?
Anyone have this experience, your advice is appreciated.

Since your primary care physician is struggling to control your BP, ask for a referral to a cardiologist or a hypertension specialist. Chemotherapy can complicate BP management, and a specialist may recommend adjustments to your medications (e.g., beta-blockers, ACE inhibitors, or calcium channel blockers) that account for FOLFOX’s effects.
@leeb123, good question. I agree with @roywalton to ask for a referral to a cardiologist. Have you heard about a specialty called cardio-oncology?
Mayo Clinic offers expertise in addressing heart problems (called cardio-oncology), potential or current issues. The Cardio-Oncology Clinic (https://www.mayoclinic.org/departments-centers/cardio-oncology-clinic/overview/ovc-20442193) evaluates people prior to cancer treatment and patients who have experienced side effects due their treatment.
You might ask if they have cardio-oncology as a specialty where you receive care.
This Mayo Clinic Connect is so helpful.
I have encouraged those who are in similar situations to use this resource.
I will push to get this resolved.
