Flomax side effects

During proton therapy for prostate cancer, I took Flomax to address urinary issues. However, I experienced headache, dizziness, low blood pressure, and even fainted after standing up from a sitting position. I would like to ask if any fellow patients have helpful suggestions for managing these side effects of this medication.

I've been taking Flomax a year now. RO prescribed it and told me to take in the evenings. I still have to get up 2-3 time a night with little volume each time. During the day I can generally go a few hours before I feel the need to go. Volume is more but then I drink more liquids. The up 2-3 times (almost like clockwork - every 2 - 2.5 hrs. each time) really disturbs my sleep. Should I change the timing on taking it?

@pcrich I take it in the morning, and still have to get up every 2 hours to evacuate my bladder. I’ve been taking it for about 14 months now with continued Orgovyx treatment. The dizziness is an ongoing issue, especially if I’m working out.
