Flare-up?

I am suddenly experiencing a flare up with extreme burning senations in my feet, this after 2 years of my neuropathy being contrilled by pregabalin. This flareup happens at in bed late around midnight.

There are 2 possible causes. One has been a breakup with my partner which created terrible stress on me.

The second possible reason is my exercise program at the local gym class which has been getting more intense, and I have read this might also be a trigger.

I suspect the breakup is more likely but perhaps a combination of both.. it has me queationing my gym footware which is NOT an old pair or runners.

How long will a flare up like this last? I welcome any and all advice.

I am trying to avoid it by going to bed early with the help of a zoplicone.

Just a thought but if the neuropathy has been pretty well controlled for the past two years with your current pregabalin dosage it might be helpful to discuss the dosage and the new symptoms with your doctor. There is a similar discussion relating to your experience that might be helpful.
