Female Age 65 egfr

Why would my egfr increase from 72 to 102 on my yearly bloodwork?

Who knows, but this is a good thing. Be grateful! (Or it could be a fluke / lab error). Keep in mind that the overall trend is more important than any 1 lab test. Could you simply repeat the test and see how those results are?

@mrvn Welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect. The biggest thing that come to my mind is a change in the lab who processed your blood sample. Is it the same one as before? Is their machine working correctly? You could ask them to rerun the eGFR portion of your testing. Heck, ask them to rerun everything! Let's see what the second reading says.

@pegpal eGRF is short for "estimated glomerulary filtration rate", an indication of kidney function. Is this something you live with, chronic kidney disease?

No, my problem is with bladder pain. No one can tell me why.
