Neuropathy in Feet: B12 injections, PRP & Stem Cells?
I have neuropathy in both my feet. Pain, numbness, tingling and burning. I have a massager which has a vibration mode, I apply topical solutions at night, being night time is the worse. I also had a podiatrist give me a bunch B12 injections right in my feet. It's supposed to regenerate the nerves. Tomorrow I have a Dr's appointment and I want to ask him about PRP or Stem Cell Treatment. Has anyone had either one done, or know anyone who did?
Thank you in advance for whatever information you can share...

Attached price list, neither of my primary care doctors offer stem cells through either medical facility. I have also started taking a teaspoon of Manuka Honey in the morning. My I ask your medical group or hospital for price comparison ? I am lucky that I am in a higher income range.
Why don’t you try red light therapy first. I have written many times about this so you can check out my posts
You all need to use IRON SUPPLEMENTS with the B12 supplements. It got rid of my neuropathy. The nerve sheaths need to be healed. You need both.

1 Reaction@joannehart I bought the Novalab XL red near infer light medical grade pad and it has helped with my peripheral neuropathy I can tell when I don’t use it I also rub vitality, frankincense palm on my foot and leg I can sleep through the night without pain waking me. These are the best things I have found that work for me. I have had neuropathy. For 25 years and have tried multiple things to get relief. You can try the novalab products for 90 days if not satisfied you can return and get your money back.
@loriesco be careful taking supplements with out being tested to see if your low. My primary suggested I take vitamin B12 I have recently had labs taken by another doctor and my vitamin B12 was very high. I suggest you have blood work done before you start a supplement.
@kekimmel great advice. You can rest comfortably because supplementation was done AFTER testing. It also continues to be supervised and periodically retested. The D, the B12, now the iron. I have metabolic labs once a year through Medicare, I have labs done every other year before surgery and after, and I have some labs every 3 - 6 months depending on the issues. It is great because I have terrific trend lines. That was how my gout was finally diagnosed as well. My insulin resistance and many more things. Its amazing if I live a day without a doctoring experience these days!
IF my B12 is not necessary I will get insomnia. But the problem has now become that I think its a problem with my iron levels. So I am bringing those up and I am not going to do the B12. I don't do it just because it is scheduled. I have some great vitamins (Vitamin Code for women) those have tremendous B's so between injections, I'll take a supplement to see if I feel better. If I feel a lot better then I will inject.
However, there is even more to this - if your B12 isn't DIGESTING it can falsely run and be picked up in your blood serum and be a misguided test result.
So, for most people who are OLDER their body does a terrible job of digesting what they put in it. So they can try what I suggested without any danger if they are not already supplementing and IF it resolves their neuropathy, there isn't much chance their B12 was "already" too high.
