See, there is one upside to chemo., Maybe. Does this happen to anyone else? I haven't had a drink in 13 years, but I remember what it feels like.to be way too drunk to drive.

Hello @gemjaynes I came out of the office after having TAC feeling this way.
I would be 9 feet tall and bullet proof kind of drunk feeling, until all the IV meds started to wear off. Let me tell you, it was a long way down from there. Lol. There is no way I would have been safe to drive.
Do you have someone to drive to and from appointments?

Fortunately, my husband always comes with me. I Googled "drunk" and "chemo." There is an FDA warning about intoxication because of the amount of ethanol in docetaxal. I was too goofy to walk out without a wheelchair after my first 3 infusions. Good to know why I "really?" needed that wheelchair. I haven't had a drink in 13 years, but it was fun while it lasted.
