Fall Advocacy Days 2024 with KidCan!

Hi everyone,

Hope my email finds you happy and feeling good.

Kidney Cancer Advocacy Days are coming and will be here before we know it! That is the focus of this post.

I understand all too well that I have benefited from Cancer Research.

I am grateful and want this to grow! I don't know if my cancer will return. Right now, 19 months after Cryoablation, I can say that there is NED.

Each day is a gift.

There was a time when Cryoablation was new and questioned. Now it is a strong and effective approach that helps destroy kidney tumors. I know this firsthand. I had Cryoablation in November of 2022 for the Eosinophilic Variant of Chromophobe Renal Cell Carcinoma.

The more I live with this cancer, even in remission as I am now, the more I see the importance and urgency in filling the need for vigorous, well-funded clinical research that can lead to cures.

I hope you are in a position where you can join us for our Upcoming Kidney Cancer Advocacy Days in September. I am participating virtually while others are going to Washington to participate in person. I just can't do that now but, I can still be part of this work in a meaningful way. That is all I want and that is enough for me.

I can write and I can speak. I can use my voice.

So can you!

And don’t worry. It is not hard. You will receive good training from some very inspiring people at KidCan.

And the Washington staffers we speak with…. well, they are so nice and kind. They are sensitive and work hard. I really like seeing their hearts.
