Does mayo clinic see people in Florida for major depression? I'm really at a total loss here what to do. Please help me.

Hi @melissa333
I wrote a reply to your Discussion in another section, and I just found that you wrote one here as well. My name is Kim..
Although I am not the best linker of web addresses.. I searched for what you had asked. Jacksonville, FLA shows that they DO treat patients with depression and other conditions you have described. I am going to attempt to link these 2 Mayo sites pertaining to Florida.
http://www.mayoclinic.org/patient-visitor-guide/florida
http://www.mayoclinic.org/patient-visitor-guide/florida/becoming-a-patient
They both have a search bar and tons of information to look over. I hope that they help..
If they are not clickable links.. my bad..and I apologize. BUT you can highlight them .. right click.. click "copy" and put them in your web browser, search engine that way.
I will tag @colleenyoung so that she knows you are looking for additional information. Colleen is the Director of the Connect forums, and is a great resource. The moderators and mentors, on Connect are wonderful as well.
I hope this helps for now, Melissa. ~ KIM

Hi Melissa, welcome. Here is further information about Depression from Mayo Clinic and care at the Florida campus http://mayocl.in/2ecfMXW "At Mayo Clinic's campuses in Arizona and Florida, specialists see adults with depression if a Mayo Clinic doctor is treating them for other medical conditions and refers them to psychiatry and psychology."

Should you wish to request an appointment, please call the Florida number here: http://mayocl.in/1mtmR63

We look forward to getting to know more about you.
