experiences with Lupron or orgovix ?

Orgovyx is a newer ADT drug that should have less side effects than Lupron and is easier on your heart. Also when you go off of Orgovyx your testosterone will come back quicker.

Orgovyx is a relatively newer oral drug that reduces testosterone just as efficiently as Lupron. It has advantages over the injectable drug. It's once a day pill rather than a trip to doctor for injection. eliminates injection site discomfort. Has lesser side effect profile and also boasts a shorter recovery time of testosterone when you stop the treatment. In my humble non professional opinion, it's a no brainer. It is more expensive than Lupron, but if you have the option take the Orgovyx.

Most people have fewer side effects with Orgovyx. Instead of a shot, you get a pill once a day. You can stop whenever you want.

It is a good move.

Hope it goes well, none of these drugs sound good, but hopefully this one will have less side affects and fix the problem. Seems to be lots of choices out there, hope I don't have to make this decision, it would be difficult. Again, hope you have success.

Since you have some heart issues, choice for you should be easy - Orgovyx. Studies show that Orgovyx lowers the risk of major adverse cardiac events significantly compared to GnRH agonists (such as leuprolide), particularly for patients with existing heart issues.

Yes, I do have a lot of PVC, but doctors all say no you don't have that many only about 1%. They say everyone has them and nothing to worry about until 10%. But the problem is for some reason I am one of the few that feels just about all of them (they call it symptomatic) , and that feeling is not a good feeling. Most people never know they are having PVCs (asymptomatic). I read that lots of ADT drugs do cause heart arrhythmias. Hopefully I won't need them.

I have had a high level of PVC for 20 years since my quadruple bypass surgery. My cardiologist is not concerned. I would estimate that mine are about once every 10 heart beats. I am 84 years old and completed radiation and Lupron treatment 14 months ago. I had very severe side effects until I started TRT 1 month ago.

Hopefully you are not symptomatic to them. Glad the side effects are better with TRT. Did they start the TRT right after the 14 months or wait?
