Excessive Mucus with Esophageal Cancer
Does anyone suffer from excessive mucus after eating or drinking. I was diagnosed with Esophageal Cancer one year ago. I started off with chemo, which did nothing and was switched to Keytruda every 3 weeks which has worked wonders. I am still stage 4 though. I was told that what I have is treatable, but not curable. I guess I can live with that. I have this excessive amount of mucus when I eat or drink. Does anyone else have this, and if you do, how do you deal with it?

Thank you for answering. The treatment is for managing pain not managing the cancer itself. I'm sorry you're not pain free.
My wife just completed radiation treatments, five plus weeks of hope for some kind of control. Only to be shattered by her radiation doctor saying it probably didn't work because she'll still have cancer cells in other other parts of her body that are going to Pop up else where.
She's been going through hell with these treatments hoping for some kind of life/control only to be told it doesn't matter. Now wants to eat a bullet. He could of just said, let's wait 5 weeks after the treatment to see what effects it had and leave it at that.
