Excess mucus

I had te mandibula flap cancer operation several years ago. I am producing large amounts of this mucus in my mouth. It seems to be getting worse the last three months.

My oncologist and my surgeon have not offered any treatment. Des anyone in the group have similar issues? And if so would you share how you are treating and coping with this

My first suggestion is to get a second opinion. Your surgery is not recent. This "new" mucous needs to be understood. An ENT may be able to help.
I had tons of mucous going through radiation. Now I have a small amount.
Take care

The only thing I can offer because have not gone through anything like you have, but between clearing my throat a lot and coughing up seems like an awful lot of mucous, i keep spit bottles close and offer, “Don’t swallow any of that stuff.” Robert
