European Lyme Disease - how to get diagnosed?

My daughter spent 7 months in Europe, hiking through forests and volunteering in Albania (1month) and a horse farm in Northern France (1month).
Soon after returning severe symptoms that could be European Lyme disease or other diseases appeared. Doctors in our area say that in the US only Mayo Clinic can analyze tests for European lime disease. Mayo rejected her application. Until lime disease is ruled out, medication for other possible causes could be harmful if it is European lyme disease. Does anyone know of somewhere else in the US that can diagnose European Lyme disease?
