ECT and fibromyalgia

Hi, the onset of my fibromyalgia coincided with being treated with electroconvulsive therapy (ECT). It was a course of 11 treatments, with significant memory loss and no improvement to my depression.

I have not seen any studies linking ECT to fibromyalgia, but I am curious if anyone has seen anything looking at ECT as a potential trigger for central sensitization, or has experienced something similar?

There are studies on ect as a treatment for fibromyalgia.
I already had symptoms of fibro way before having ect but have definitely worsen since. I only had 4 sessions of ect because a neurologist decided it wasn't working for me without even asking me and despite the fact that 4 treatments is not enough to tell if it will work. Anyway, I have also been searching for a link between chronic pain/fatigue and ect without success.
