Does the Covid virus need viral load management like HIV?

I’ve seen some research talking about the Covid viral load. In my two paxlovid experiences, I hypothesize the anti-viral properties probably suppressed the load so my system could calm down and heal.

It took a bit, but the “AIDS cocktail” seems to have evolved to a daily pill(s) that keep HIV dormant or undetectable.

In the same way, perhaps antivirals can keep SARS dormant so these long Covid flare ups don’t happen. Anybody else seeing research on the viral load of Covid?

There’s different virus terms used when I look into HIV. When I Google those terms along with Covid, there’s interesting results. I have more digging to do.
