Does biofeedback help
Was wondering if anyone has tried bio feedback for anxiety and depression. I was taking clonazapam for 30 years and have been off it for 6 years, since then I get anxious so easy, have trouble sleeping. I might try biofeedback to see if that helps, does anyone of any thoughts on this?

I haven't tried it. However, it sounds like a good idea to me. I can share that one of my health problems is getting a headache and other symptoms after I get overheated, which I seem to do more and more easily as I get older. Yesterday I felt myself getting overheated driving a friend around on errands and couldn't get home to cool off until after I could tell that my symptoms were threatening to set in. I decided to make some modifications in how I dealt with the problem, by making a very conscious effort to stay calm and pay attention to how my body was reacting to different things I tried to feel better and prevent the usual escalation of symptoms. I still had some symptoms, but they did not get as bad as they sometimes do. I think it helped that I tried to be especially conscious and aware of my mind and body and what helped and what was maybe not so helpful. So I can see how this kind of 'tuning in' to our own inner workings can be useful.
I also try to calm myself down when I get anxious, doesn't always work for me. The heat bothers me also, especially when it is hot and humid. My doctor recommended bio feedback for me, because I can get very nervous and it affects my health. Hope all goes well with you!
It may very well help. I hope it does!
The way I see it, the more tools we have, the better.
