I didn't lose my sense of taste, but it did change a lot.

For a while I didn't want to eat anything. Later, some foods I had loved tasted awful, and others tasted really good.

It's been nearly six years since the stroke, and my taste is still changing, though pretty much back to "normal" for me.

I did with the second one of three...for almost a year, and smell. This one, my third I did not, but was nauseous for many reasons over the journey, but did not associate it with food but vestibular symptons from ischemic stroke in the cerebellum
