Does anyone have cognitive effects from prednisone?

I am currently weaning down from prednisone for GFC. I was put on 40 mg starting in March 2026. I am now down to 7mg and decreasing by 1 mg a week. I feel good physically but my memory and focus are poor. Thinking is slow. I often lose my train of thought and have difficulty retrieving words. This all started after prednisone was initiated and I am told by my rheumatologist that is can take months after cessation of the drug
