I have Dyspepsia and it causes daily nausea. Does anyone have a known way to get the nausea to go away?

Have you tried Pepcid? I have chronic acid and it's hard to figure out. I've also heard of having too little acid, which can feel like too much, and taking gastrin for that.

Oh I think I mixed the last part of that up!

Take 2-3 TBSP of pure lemon juice, if the discomfort goes away, you’re low in hydrochloric acid. I have the same issue for 32 years now, and able to manage it with diet (no oily food) especially with an empty stomach, avoiding stress and with lemon juice. I am no longer suffering as much after reading about the lemon juice. Give it a try hope it helps

@echaven finish eating 3 hours before bed, sleep on your left side, avoid all the stuff to decrease acid as you need stomach acid to digest food for vitamins and minerals, chewing gum for nausea- Trader Joe’s has gum without all the additives, try adding more ginger in your cooking. Chewing gum restarts peristalsis. Can give you some gas. Diabetics have neuropathy in their gut.

@anniez I don’t tolerate the Tumeric being touted as cure all. Bothers my GI tract .i have lichen planus pilarus, leaking ileocecal valve from sessile polyp removal, and diverticulosis with aging. I did have high fiber diet. Just do work around take supplement s carefully. Keep active. Retired NP, CDE
