Do you smell different to people post RARP and Cancer treatment?
I was at my mother's house this weekend doing some odd jobs for her and like she always does she had to be right next to me when I was doing them so that she could supervise and ensure that I was doing exactly what she wanted me to do. Out of the blue she mentioned "you smell different". I assured her that I was using all the same products that I normally do and asked her to clarify. She couldn't give me details but she insisted that "I smelled different". I asked her if I smelt better or worse and assured her I had showered and was wearing clean clothes. She couldn't identify it. I'm wondering If others that have had a RARP or Cancer treatment now smell different to others? Or is it just my elderly mother being her elderly self.

1 ReactionWhen I was on ADT I sweat a lot less and lost all my body hair which probably changed how I smelled.

Yes, as a person coming from Europe where deodorant, aftershave and perfume are used to "smell super nice" and not "to block odors" lol , I totally get it. I would sooner be caught dead than not using deodorant and/or perfume and the same is with my husband. My husband is constantly stopped by both man and ladies and asked "what cologne" is he using, so yeah - if you are a single man and reading this and looking for scenario where young ladies are stopping you on a street ha ha , I would strongly suggest - use cool aftershave ; ).

I have never worn deodorant, My wife tells me I never smell bad. I never wear aftershave or cologne, though my wife does wear perfume.
Yes, the advertisers make a big deal about Needing those things. I never have. I go to the gym and may sweat, but I can wear the same shirt for many weeks and it never smells. I tried a deodorant, one time, but it gave me a rash, so I never tried it again.
I am 6’4”and keep myself in good shape, that was always an aphrodisiac for women. Never really had a problem meeting them.

Yes, we are all different : ). I love nice smelling things and nice smelling people though and I am sure that most people do. Obviously not important thing to everybody. I do not even grow roses that are not fragrant, ha ha, nothing to do with advertisers XP. People use fragrances for thousands of years - must be a good reason for that ; ). Fragrance is not meant to mask odor, that combo could be just awful lol.
Before my prostate cancer diagnosis. I noticed that my urine had a very pungent oder to it . This was prevalent for several months. I also was having frequent urination issues. This is the reason I went for a doctor’s visit.
Never heard that or noticed it. I'll ask the wife.
Wife here. My husband smells completely different. He used to smell like spicey kinda, now he smells sour. He taste different too his hair, skin, sweat, clothes, all smell completely different to me. It has effected my attraction level to him. The animal sense of my mate is no longer primal.
