Do you know the manufacturer of your shoulder replacement device?

Someone please tell me if you have been used by your orthopedic surgeon to learn on how to place a new shoulder device made by a different manufacturer?
I had a reverse shoulder replacement and was never told I was one of the surgeon’s patients he was using as a practice patient.
