Do opioids help with your chronic pain? - Successfully?

I used Opioids Post Surgery after my surgeries failed - successfully for 3 months. CRPS had set in both feet. Immediately after prescribing my third prescription for Opioids, my Surgeon pronounced me cured and discontinued any further care. December of 2016 was the last time I received a narcotic for my Pain. Just when I needed them the Most, I was Banned from any further Successful Pain Medication as Every New Pain Clinic told me that Opioids do Not Work for CRPS.
At a time when they are needed the most I have been Red Flagged as a Criminal Medicine Seeker and heard every excuse that Opioids do Not Work, and, are Not acceptable for long term use of over 3-6 months. Not even a Trial. I am unable to use NSAIDS. Gabapentin and Lyrica do not work and had too many side effects,
My research showed that Opioids should be used immediately if Nothing Else Works as TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE in treating CRPS. DO Opioids work on Your Pain? Do No Harm _ Do Nothing...

Well, this is just me venting a little. Some of you may have experienced this feeling:
If you remember the Seinfeld episode in which Elaine is at the Doctor's office for a checkup, and the doc goes out for a second. Elaine picks up her chart and is perusing it when the Doc comes back in. He sees Elaine checking her chart and picks up the phone and makes a call. Elaine decides to get a second opinion. At the new doctor's, she is about to have her exam when the nurse shows the Doc a note. He then tells her that he can't help her. This is repeated several times, even at a Vet's office, where the Vet gets a call about Elaine. She has obviously been blacklisted.
Point of story: sometimes I feel like Elaine in that every doctor I visit seems to be totally uninterested, as if they received "the call". "Don't spend any time on this guy. He's a whiner". In my excruciating pain, lack of balance, walking problems, pain at an eight, sometimes approaching a nine, where are the empathetic doctors? Have they gone by the way of the dodo? Okay, that's my rant. Wishing all my fellow pain-sufferers some much needed pain relief!
