Dizziness and Methotrexate
Hi All!
I was recently put on oral methotrexate, for AntiSynthetase and Sjogrens syndrome, and I am having significant dizziness. It actually feels like I’ve had too much alcohol, swaying around all day long. I’ve tried Zofran and Dramamine with no results.
Anyone have a solution?

Are you taking Methotrexate once per week or more often? Do you get dizzy every time? I don't get dizzy from Methotrexate but do other times. I use Mezcline, it has some effectiveness.
I also get some dizziness for at least a couple days after my weekly dose but find that making sure I drink plenty more water than usual seems to help for me, as methotrexate does dehydrate you.
Interesting, I have been taking methotrexate for quite some time now.. A rheumatologist prescribed it once I was diagnosed with Psoriatic Arthritis. I hadn't connected the two yet but will pay closer attention next time I take my weekly dose.
