Discontinuing Trazodone

I've been taking Trazodone for about 8 months and I want to stop. Thinking about doing a CBTI digital program and wanted to hear if other have had success on specific apps. I expect to have a rebound of insomnia when I stop.

I can't answer your question, sorry, but I would bet many dollars that the earnest advice from a physician would be that you don't 'stop'. You taper, and this might take up to six months, depending on the person. I would bet, again, big dollars, that you WILL have severe problems if you 'stop' and do not taper.

How much Trazodone do you take? I take 150mg nightly and sleep through about 7 hours

I take somewhere between 50mg and 25mg. I sleep through the night with it, but I don't like being dependent on it. Tapering down to 25mg right now, and I suppose in a couple weeks I'll go below that even though I think its below the active dose?
