Anyone have pelvic pain as a main symptom for Gyne Cancer?
14 years ago I had an endometrial ablation. For the last couple of months I’ve been getting a lot of pelvic pain which is on both sides, plus lower back. At times it’s very sharp. Other times there is discomfort. I think there is also watery discharge but I don’t know how to describe it. Specialist has ordered an MRI scan because Ultrasound would not be helpful. I’m worried sick. I’ve been on HRT for 2 years and wonder if this could have reactivated endometrial growth. Has anyone been diagnosed post ablation?

@izzy55 Are you perimenopausal? Post-menopausal? The pain is very puzzling, indeed. I did have pelvic pain about a month before a diagnosis of endometrial cancer. But the pain was more like menstrual cramps and I was having vaginal bleeding. I did not have back pain associated with the pelvic pain. I was postmenopausal at the time.
Are you seeing a gynecologist? Did you gynecologist prescribe the HRT and have you talked with them about any association with pelvic pain? Is it possible that there are fibroids causing the pain?
