Did anyone attend the support group with Dr Starr Thursday August 7th?
My confirmation did not work. I just received a note host has not started the meeting." I was very interested in hearing what Dr Starr had to share. I would like to talk with someone who was able to attend.
Interested in more discussions like this? Go to the Neuroendocrine Tumors (NETs) Support Group.
Waiting for the host to start the meeting . I have been on since 5:30. It is now 6pm.
Yes I am I guess they aren’t having the meeting
@splendrous, I'm sorry that the meeting failed. I will find out what happened and if the meeting took place, if a recording can be shared.
Hi there. Me too! I was very disappointed as I scheduled my day around this! If there is an answer to what happened, I'd like to know too. And if there is another one that is scheduled. Pretty frustrated after all I rearranged for this yesterday.

Thank you! What happened? That's a first for me. Just curious! I always think it's me and a time zone error but it was my actual city mentioned so I knew it wasn't me this time! lol

The meeting was held, Dr was wonderful! He answered so many questions & gave an update on new meds & upcoming trials. Showed/explained a video of Histotripsy.
Thanks Colleen, I did register in advance. The confirmation came from Grossling.Loriell. It would be helpful if the title of the confirmation included Mayo Clinic. Easier to search for that than Neuroendocrine Support Group when trying to find in email. I very much wanted to hear Dr Starr. If there is anyway that I can hear his talk I would be most appreciative. Thanks for your work,
I would like to get your thoughts from the meeting. Would you be willing to have a phone call with me? Thanks very much.
One of the Drs. ‘rules’ in the meeting last night was “what happens in this meeting stays in this meeting” (assuming confidentiality). See if you can reach out to Colleen or Jennifer for more information.
