desvenlafaxine (Pristiq) and progressive hearing loss

I got on desvenlafaxine in 2010, and around that time began experiencing progressive hearing loss. I have always assumed the two were just coincidental, but wondering if any one else has experienced this.

You recognize that your hearing loss has been progressive since you started taking this antidepressant drug. Might it be possible your hearing issues started long before you started on Pristiq?
