Dementia and creatinine levels

I read strong correlation in creatinine level and dementia. Does dialysis reduce this concern. What are the signs ?

Dr. google is often a unreliable source of information.

Aright. Do your own research. The national institute of health and the new England journal of medicine cite dozens of studies supporting correlation of ckd to dementia.

@u4gmlglm This is an eight year old study report. There have undoubtedly been advances and more information in the intervening years.

Dialysis is one of several treatments for chronic kidney disease. It is not a cure-all. Likewise, neither is a kidney transplant a cure-all. Truly, I am not exactly clear what you are trying to ask, here.

Assuming toxins are high and contribute to dementia durckd would dialysis reverse the process. I think the answer is no

I show many studies over the past 20 years showing a strong correlation btw ckd and dementia published by national instute of health and new England journal of medicine. Is there any research proving kidney dialysis or transplant reverse dementia? Most of the citations are in the Google url or Dr. Google but an independent search reveals many more.

@u4gmlglm of course the nephrologist only cares about the kidneys. Based on the afore mentioned research they should be giving cognitive tests along with blood tes
