Deep Vein Thrombosis: How do you handle the leg pain?

I’ve just been diagnosed with DVT. Does anyone have advice on how to handle my leg pain? I am taking Eliquis.

Thanks for your reply. I’ve just started the blood thinner. I took my first dose 12 days ago.
