Decipher Score Sample

Posted by hibernianstpat @hibernianstpat, Aug 27 4:48pm

I am new and worried, Question about Decipher Sample findings,

Age 72. I had a PSA 4.6. I had a biopsy and 1 carcinoma was found (Gleason 7, 3+4). Doctor sent the 1 sample for Decipher test and it was 4.6. Would the size of the sample have any bearing on the high score?

Thank you for all your help!

I’ve had the Decipher and Artera test. They are at odds. Decipher is .63 (high risk) and recommending ADT. Artera indicates I’m at low risk (2.1%) of metastasis in 10 years. Not sure which one should guide my decision?

The Artera test is not approved in all states the FDA approved it 8/13/25.

If you want to get some information about which one to trust more search the web for this

“ how accurate is the arteraai test compared to the decipher test for prostate cancer reoccurrence”

You really need to discuss this with your doctor. The tests use different Technologies to come up with the numbers. The decipher test Has been pretty standard lately and there are studies that use the decipher number to estimate metastasis return.
