@ 620915122k (@620915122k). This must be so difficult for you and your daughter. Media shows new moms as happy and excited without a single negative thought. But it is difficult and the responsibility is enormous! My husband was in Vietnam when my first was born. It was so difficult, but i relied on others to help me.
You, her mother, can be a great role model for her. Don’t try to preach or make light of it. Just demonstrate relaxation and an unworried manner. You can also look for new mom support groups in your area. I used to volunteer at one that gave new moms a safe place to meet other moms and get support.
The Best Ways to Emotionally Support a New Mom
Ask Her What She Needs. …
If a Task Needs to Be Done, Do It! …
Tell Her How Well She's Doing. …
Keep the Support Coming. …
Encourage Her to Connect with Other Moms.

Is this your daughter’s first child and your first grandchild?

It is her first baby after having had two miscarriage. Child conceived through IVS. She went through a lot to have her baby. No it is not my first grand child. I have 3 children and 5 grand kids!

@ 620915122k Well i can see why she’s anxious! She doesn’t want to lose another baby. Can you or someone stay in the house for a few days? You could stay out of the way, but praise her for everything. She just needs the comfort of someone around; someone who won’t judge her, just love her.
Does that sound reasonable and do-able?

She goes to work 1 day a week and 4 days works from home! I go babysit while she works!

I try not to say anything negative but she is the one that says negative. I always tell her just love him today and God and we will see what the future holds.

Encourage her to talk to her doctor or pedestrian about. Tell her it is OK to ask for professional help.
