CPAP and Metoprolol 25mg ER and Gabapentin

Posted by cindymattern @cindymattern, Jul 19 2:39pm

Cardiology recently put me on Metoprolol 25mg ER for my extra PCV's (14,000 in 24 hours) and I have no symptoms. I also take 300-600mg of Gapapentin at bedtime as well with the Metoprolol. I was reading that it can cause issues if you use CPAP. Does anyone else take this who uses a CPAP? Heart health is normal except for the extra PVC's I throw in my upper chamber per my holter monitor.

Thanks, just want to know if others take this using CPAP. I'm calling my pulmonologist Monday to double check for sure.

Yes I use a cpap and also take metoprolol 25mg 2 times a day. I take 400mg gabapentin 3-4 times a day for the neuropathy caused from back issues and the 6 rounds of chemo I received. I don't have any issues at all.

Thank you!!! I did start taking the metoprolol and no issues. I found my issues was the Naltrexone 1mg I was taking off label for pain and inflammation. I actually stopped it. I'm so tired of taking meds but the older we get the more we seem to need some. I'm wondering if I need to increase my Gabapentin to 600mg at bedtime. I've actually weaned way down and back up as I can build up a tolerance as I have back issues as well but do not want surgery.
