Covid booster while on Humira?

I'm a woman in my early 70's and have been taking Humira for 2 months for RA. Does anyone know if taking the Covid booster is not recommended, or if so, has your rheumatologist instructed you to take a break from Humira before or after the booster? Thank you!

Hi, I've taken quite a few Covid vaccines/boosters at this point and will be getting another this Monday. I take Methotrexate and Humira, have for some years. I always pause Methotrexate for 2 weeks after taking the vaccine. I believe if you do a search for 'should I pause Methotrexate after the Covid vaccine', you will be told to pause, if possible. I haven't seen the same advice for pausing Humira, and my doctor didn't advise it, either, so I continue to take it, but I only inject every 2 weeks, anyway. My advice is call your doctor if you have any questions. My RA is very well managed, and skipping a couple weeks of Methotrexate won't affect me. It may you, if you are still having a lot of symptoms, so get your doctor's advice. Good luck!
