Could a Mass on one of my adrenal glands be linked to my carcinoid lun
I am 75. Had right upper lung lobe removed in August 2022
Have multiple 5 cm carcinoid tumorettes in lung
Could a mass on my adrenal gland be connected?
Should I be having treatments besides cat scans every 6 months
I never smoked but I have a cough
I live near Boston, where should I turn for help?

Hi ggiinnaa
I am not a lung net person but I know as we get older, cysts can form just about anywhere. You referenced a mass,. Was this discovered on your resent scans? Did the Dr address this? If not, this is a good conversation to have with your hopefully NET Specialist. Wishing you well! 🙏💜
Found this online & I think these look like great places to have your Neuroendocrine Tumor disease treated. "For neuroendocrine cancer treatment near Boston, MA, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is a highly-regarded option, nationally ranked in adult and pediatric specialties and known for its specialized Neuroendocrine and Carcinoid Tumors Program. Massachusetts General Hospital is also a top-ranked cancer hospital in the area." It's my understanding that most early NET's are treated with a once a month Somatostatin shot to keep them from spreading. That's what I recieve.
Hoping you find a great doctor!
