confusion about pain from foraminal stenosis
Does anyone understand if the pain of a nerve being pinched due to foraminal stenosis is due to inflammation or is that not true ? I am seeing an acupuncturist says she can help me but I don't see how acupuncture can do anything about a pinched nerve. Any insights are welcome !

Yes foraminal stenosis pain is inflammation. It's similar to getting a blister on your heel from shoes that are rubbing.
The pain I had from cervical foraminal stenosis resulted from the accumulation of bone spurs thereby compressing the nerves. It was extremely painful.
The pain I have is odd, it's twitching in my calves and my left toes curl up sometimes. But not bad pain except until 3 am the twitching and spasms get really bad and it keeps me awake.
