Come & Go Head Pressure
I’ve had constant head pressure that will come and go during the day. It’s been at least 4 weeks of this pressure. The best way I’ve found to explain it is it feels as though I’ve been upside down for too long and all of the blood has rushed to my head.
It’s been consistent daily. Sometimes staying all day, sometimes for hours, sometimes for short moments.
It feels like I can feel my brain if that makes sense? Not a pain, more of a full feeling. Pressure all around the inside of my skull.

Does your blood pressure change as well? How bout your lymph nodes in your neck? Any swelling or firmness? Sinuses?
That's all I can think of....what I'm imagining my doc would ask me.
Sandy
have you had a C/T or MRI scan??

3 ReactionsLast five years I have had head pressure. Journal the head pressure with weather app (accuweather) atmospheric pressure (ap). When the ap drops below 29.6 I really start to feel it. I have learned this past year, it's the change in ap, down or up, that feels like my brain is being pressed. Note: I have had ct scans, didn't provide any information in my situation.

2 ReactionsI am sorry to hear of you headache for FIVE years! Bless your heart, but I do not want to copy you!
This weird headache of mine started in April, this year. I gave it a little time to go away, but it did not. Then, I went to several Doctors and walked out the door every time with no no success. The pressure has been moving down my head like a warning. There is a distinct change in my thinking and response. More doctors, then out of desperation, not knowing any better, I went to the Hospital. Bad idea. I think now it is a rule at least for me, to know what is wrong, and then go get it fixed, or stay home! I had a CT scan, and an MRI with absolutely no hint of what is going wrong. I have another Neuro appointment the end of November because I still have a little hope. I cannot think like I used to, and my head hurts all the time. Just saying this , since misery likes company!

3 Reactions@fala I have been dealing with something similar. Have you noticed any correlation with your activity, what you eat or wjat youre doing? Mine started beginning of September. Initially felt like a haze, brain fog, sleep inertia that never went away. Turned into a pressure in forehead area. It has been persistent, everyday all day but comes in waves. Usually going from 2 to a 7 and anywhere in between. Not painful, but it brings crashing waves of, whats best described as anxiety. Cant sit still, I pace miles a day. Reduced sensation over whole body, cold and numb fingers, insomnia, loss of appetite, lost 15+lbs the first month. Its like a constant physical feeling of dread and fear. I cant drive and cant work, struggle to concentrate or sit still at all, let alone be able to sit and read or watch tv. Mri clear, ct of sinus is pending, all panels and other tests clear. Even went to dentist to check that box, teeth are perfect. Was prescribed sumatripan, it didnt seem to have any effect. Neurologist wants me to try prednisone, so i will be giving it a try. My last trip to urgent care they gave me toradol, anti inflammatory. I started feeling better by the time I left so I bought some 800mg ibuprofen and have continued to find some relief, never back to normal, but close enough that I can eat and sit still for more than a minute. It still spikes occasionally and is still always present, but much better than I was a month ago.

1 ReactionFirst of all, thank you for the reply. No matter what bothers us, we
usually do not like to think that we are original, the first one to come up
with this "new ailment". It's not like a design, we want answers,
solutions. You have made some headway, and I have a feeling you will
continue down that path. I think it might be an age thing as well. I have
read that the cut off for most doctors is age. It seems like 85 is the
number where there is more of a "sigh" than a solution. I just found out
yesterday that a family member has stopped my driving privileges! I did
have my first ever accident last year. It would have been nice to at least
have a conversation. Hello UBER!

3 Reactions@fala there is some sense of relief knowing that im not alone with my experience. So thank you for posting and for the reply. Hope you are doing better today than yesterday. Not being able to drive is a bummer and not having it be your choice is worse. I will drive short distances but even then there are moments i dont feel safe, vertigo, dizziness. It was all pretty scary for awhile, mostly the not knowing. All the unremarkable testing. The notion of a migraine didnt fit my idea of them, since there isnt any pain. But the more I read the more it started to make sense. I was prescribed prednisone, but it seems like a major ordeal, two weeks of who knows which side effects will be the worst. So ive decided to try the botox option instead. It originally sounded like the scarier of the two, but all things considered, I think it is the best option.
Thanks
@fala
Neurologist refer me to Immunologist (Allergy/Immunology). I had a very productive 1st appointment. I keep notes on Symptoms, Current and Previous medications, previous health issues - no sleep history from smart watch, Family history, etc. She requested Lab work (Blood test) for some new things I had not heard before (I can't remember what they were right now). She mentioned that she would need to refer me to another Immunologist for deeper insight. Keep moving forward.
