Lucky me…..I love cold. It’s the heat and humidity that does me in.

Yes I have had increased pain since the cold came to
long Island, NY, We suddenly had some unusually cold days. My knee pain came back with a vengeance, My PMR pain had an increase while i was on the same dose for the previous 2 weeks.

My PMR is very responsive to changes in barometric pressure, completely separate from temperature or humidity. When a front (of any kind) comes thru - my symptoms increase.

Yes, first half of the day is like having the flu. Muscle aches and stiffness. Going to be a rough winter!

Hi there, I’m the same way. We recently had a record low in barometric pressure (94) my body reaction was intense. I was freezing and shaking with it. I wore my down coat to bed. It was like a PMR flare and a very bad flu together. I find it helpful to look ahead at the expected BP now and plan ahead if possible knowing I will feel miserable.
