Clicking in my throat when I swallow.

It started happening recently, when I swallow while my head is turned even in the slightest something in my throat clicks and it hurts. Does anyone know what could have caused this?

It could be "Clicking Larynx Syndrome", but it's very rare. Like 17 reported cases in the world since 1978. It's miserable. If it's anything like mine, you will soon have a Globus sensation (suffocating sensation) that keeps your body in constant stress. Talk to an ENT soon, and have them do a scope via your nose and check out your Hyoid bone and Larynx. If anything is out of place, CLS can be the result. A lot of ENT's will want to treat you for GERD. Don't let them. It's easy money for them, rather than looking at the actual problem. (If you have GERD certainly get it looked at, but that doesn't cause clicking).
