Chris Hoy, British olympic cyclist announces prostate cancer diagnosis
He is 48 and so quite young to have stage 4 cancer. It is getting a lot of coverage in the UK so maybe less people will think it is a "good" cancer.

Thanks for sharing. This couple's attitude to their lot in life is positive and that is an important part of a bad situation.
I read about this, this morning in the newspaper. He had chemo, but had many adverse reactions. They don’t mention if Pluvicto has been tried . They don’t mention putting him on ADT and second drug like Zytiga or a lutamide, which might give him more time.
Really disappointing to see somebody so young with such advanced cancer.
I'm so sorry to hear that.

I assume he's getting the best treatment available (since he can probably afford to go anywhere in the world).
I'm puzzled that his medical team is telling him to expect only 2–4 years if the cancer is only in his bones and hasn't moved to any vital organs — we have members here in the forum who have been going on well with high-load bone metastases for quite a while — but a short quote in an interview isn't the best source of information. There might be more context that he or the journalists left out. 😢
