I am not a medical professional, but if this just developed in last few days, I suggest you have someone drive you to ER NOW, or call 911. Do not drive yourself. This is nothing to take a chance with. Better to be safe then sorry.

Please let us know what happens.

Karen, I’m going to echo the reply from @pmm in your other discussion entitled Help. https://connect.mayoclinic.org/discussion/help-26/
You should see medical attention immediately!

Fullness in your chest and having difficulty breathing requires a trip to the ER for evaluation. We members in Connect are not medical professionals so we can’t diagnose or offer treatment.
Will you let us know what you find out please?

@billybella, I agree with @loribmt and @roch. If the chest pains are a new symptom, please go to your nearest emergency department.

I'm sorry that your GP seems to be unconcerned. It sounds like you have questions that remain unanswered. Are the chest pains new or have you talked to GP about them?

Karen, I’m so sorry that your GP is being so dismissive. You know yourself better than anyone! Clearly you’re not feeling well and you’re concerned about the symptoms you’re experiencing.
Is there a possibility of changing doctors?

An ultrasound 8 years ago said I had fatty liver. Docs don’t seem to be concerned about it. Mytummuy is big up high . No pain or anything like described . Have taken a liver supplement but had no reduction in stomach or weight like it promised. Any suggestions?

Hi @erbrookg, May I ask what type of liver supplement you’re taking? Is this a prescription from your doctor?

I had pains too until I took regular milk thistle, pycnogenol and changed my diet and exercised more.

Lost twenty lbs

It sounds like how I felt with a hiatal hernia. Have they seen anything on CT? I had one for years then it got really bad! Your stomach is up in your chest cavity and it causes breathing problems and rapid heart beats. Of course gerd and horrible burning. But I just thought of it reading your message.
