Cedar-Sinai?
Hi All,
I have an opportunity to get my mother into cedar sinai right away for a second opinion on her pancreatic cancer. Has anyone dealt with them? Are they good?

Cedars-Sinai is not only a great hospital, it's a great resource for pancan patients. It's a member of PanCAN’s Precision Promise Clinical Trial Consortium sites, which (according to that website) "were selected through a competitive, peer-review process and include premier cancer treatment institutions across the country."

Fwiw, if you don't go to Cedars-Sinai, I'd recommend Mayo in Rochester -- nothing is close to Edmonton, but it's less far than some of the others, and it has long been known as a world-class medical center. Two in Seattle are on the pancan.org list, but I don't know anything about them (Fred Hutch; Virginia Mason). Good luck!
