I just had steroid hip injections to help with pain, will need hip replacement in future due to Osteoarthritis. Is Cbd oil safe to take after steroid injections?

Hello @plkl, welcome to Connect. If you don't mind me asking, has your medical provider advised you with this question? Because medications can have adverse reactions with other medications, and because we are not medical professionals here on Connect, it is always best to keep your provider in the loop with anything you are ingesting. The difficult thing about CBD oil in particular, is that because it is not FDA approved, there is minimal scientific research to corroborate any claims about reactions with other medications.
@plkl, how are the steroid injections going so far with your pain? Have you used cbd oil before prior to your steroid injections?
I appreciate your question I just ordered some CBD myself to help with chronic osteoarthritis issues. I am reconsidering using it. It seems that I done a litney of supplements etc and stil have dull aches. Good luck to you and keep us posted
Be careful with CBD, after TKR the oil caused me to have a Vasovagal episode which caused my wife to call 911.

Injections helped a little bit. My doctor said it was fine to try CDB: however the topical, not the oil. He mentioned not enough research regarding possible liver issues/liver enzyme increase. So l am trying topical jel, which has not helped.
