CBD oil and chronic daily headaches

Posted by jdiakiw @jdiakiw, Feb 2, 2019

I am an 82 year old male who has endured headaches all my life. As a young man I had occasional severe classic migraines which over time morphed into chronic daily headaches for over 50 years now. 10 years ago I upped my oxycontin dosage to 160 mg a day plus a fentanyl patch . Weaning myself off 5mg every 2 weeks I got off all opioids over 6 months. But then restarted tramadol slow release ( durela) I have been taking 200 mg daily plus 2-6 Tylenol 1 or 2 (codeine). The American migraine association website has c9nvinced me I am suffering MOH or medication overuse headaches or rebound headaches.

Google American migraine association MOH

I have now eliminated the codeine tylenlo1/2 tabs and undergoing some symptoms of withdrawal. Looking for a withdrawal plan for the tramadol.
A friend gave me abottle of CBD oil and I have taken 1mg daily with some relief over these first 3days. Not sure how to titrate it or how much or often to take it.
Look8ng for fellow sufferers of chronic daily headaches and any MOH sufferers and CBD. Oil successes

I use oil daily only once. Its works for me, but Canabas is the replacement for the hard drugs many of us have to take. Once a day on Canabas.

Thanks. What dosage once a day? What hard drugs does the oil replace ? Are you slowly weaning off the hard drugs or just reducing the amount ?
