Anyone use CBD cream for extreme neuropathy pain in feet and legs?
My neurologist recommended a CBD cream for extreme pain in feet and legs. Any reputable ones out there? Thank you!

Hello @gotosarah,
I'd like to invite @daj3333 and @rplg who have posted about CBD oils/creams in the CBD Oil for Neuropathy discussion, https://connect.mayoclinic.org/discussion/cbd-oil-for-neuropathy/ which has many posts and discussion on CBD Oil.
@gotosarah, did your neurologist give any recommendations or where to start? What sort of management have you tried previously?

2 ReactionsDr. had no recommendations for CBD cream. I have tried Gabapentin, Cymbalta with no benefit. I'm going to be trying Tegretol next.
I found no relief from CBD/THC combination cream. Let us know if you have better luck.
Thank you!
I use it for lower, (very lower!) back back pain-- 1000 mgs. works well.
But doesn't work on hands, or feet.
I have PN. When the symptoms appeared, I recalled that 40 years ago I developed trigeminal neuralgia and that tegretol was an immediate fix. My doctor was sceptical that it would help for PN but gave me a prescription for 30 days. I used it for a month and it had absolutely no perceivable effect on my symptoms.

1 ReactionPrescription
Pain cream
2% Bacflofen
6% gabapentin
10% ketamine HCL
2% cyclobenzaprine
10% Diclofenac Sodium
2.5% tetracaine HCL
25% propylene
100% lipoderm
My doctor recommended this compounded medication to rub into my feet and legs. I wear socks with it a little sticky.

1 ReactionExpensive, but works well for me. Life’s saver.
My doctor advised that CBD interacts with some seizure medications, it increases the effectiveness of Lamictal and decreases the effectiveness of Trileptal. I don't know if that includes creams: 4% Lidocaine patches on my legs give me some relief, Lidocaine cream does not.
Thank you. I tried CBD cream for first time yesterday. Ok on heels but stung on tops of feet. The tumeric I think.
